Queen's Robotics Cup (QRC) is a new competition for teams in the VEX U Robotics Competition that will be held each year in late January/early February. This year's competition will be held on January 25th, 2025. University students from across North America will be coming to Queen’s to showcase their robot designs in an event that involves both expert judging and head-to-head matches on a competition field. The top teams from the event will qualify for the World Championships, to be held in Dallas, TX in late April.

Position Description:

As a co-chair, you will work with your fellow co-chair to oversee the planning committee of 5 people. There are two co-chair positions:

  • The Co-Chair (Competition) acts as the point of contact with the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation, and ensures QRC aligns with their guidelines.
  • The Co-Chair (Administration) facilitates the event planning process, operating with groups that are internal to Queen's University.

You will be responsible for keeping your committee on track with planning the competition. You must see all possible issues you may encounter and ensure there are contingency plans in place.
