The Conference on Sustainability in Engineering (CSE) is an annual, student-led event dedicated to empowering the next generation of engineers to create a greener future. CSE brings together students and industry leaders from across Canada to discuss innovative ideas and explore how engineers can drive positive change in sustainability.

CSE encourages students from all engineering disciplines to challenge traditional approaches and rethink their individual and collective impact on the environment. Through this conference, delegates will gain the tools, knowledge, and inspiration to lead with purpose, prioritize sustainability, and develop impactful solutions that pave the way for a sustainable world.

As a CSE delegate, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Attend workshops and sessions led by sustainability-focused industry leaders and experts.
  • Collaborate with delegates from engineering programs across Canada on sustainable design challenges and initiatives.
  • Gain insights into the latest trends and innovations in sustainable engineering practices.
  • Participate in networking events and engage in meaningful discussions with peers and professionals.

Requirements:

  • Be a Smith Engineering student.
  • Be available from February 20th to February 23rd, 2025.
  • Have a passion for sustainability and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
