Join the Engineering Society's dynamic Communications Team as an Orientation Week Media Team Member. Showcase your creative flair and capture the energy and enthusiasm of one of the most exciting events on campus.

As a Media Team Member, you'll work with the Communications Director and Managers to produce engaging photo and video content that showcases the spirit and activities of the Engineering Orientation Week 2024.

Be Part of the Action

This is your chance to be at the heart of the action during one of the most exciting times of the year. You'll work in shifts to capture various events, ensuring you experience the full energy and excitement of Orientation Week. Plus, there's an opportunity to continue your involvement with the Communications Team on one of their sub teams after Orientation Week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce interesting, exciting coverage of Orientation Week events
  • Promote the Engineering Society Communications Team at Orientation Week
  • Assist in post-production

Required Skills and Interests:

  • Strong interest in photography and/or videography (no prior experience necessary)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to self-motivate and work as part of a team

Additional Information:

  • Reports to the Director of Communications
  • Work term: August 26th to October 1st, 2025 (mandatory Orientation Week attendance)
  • Training/Teambuilding will be scheduled during pre-week (August 26th-30th)
  • This position will not interview, hiring based on written application only.
