aQuatonomous is hiring a Business Lead for the 2025-2026 academic year. This individual will secure sponsorships, manage finances, and expand our public presence through media and outreach, playing a crucial role in ensuring the team’s long-term success. In March 2025, aQuatonomous competed at RoboBoat for the first time, making it to the semi-finals. Now, we're looking for a Business Lead to help us secure the resources needed to reach the finals in March 2026. 💼 We are looking for someone who:
- Has strong communication skills and time management skills.
- Can facilitate collaboration and sponsorships with external companies, labs, and student groups.
- Has an eye for a good Instagram post.
- Knows things about money! :D
🌊As the Business Lead, you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating activities, initiatives and events with your team.
- Leading marketing strategies and defining the team’s brand image via social media and our website.
- Spearheading sponsorship efforts and creating industry connections in tech, AI, and robotics.
- Managing financials in collaboration with the Co-Captains.
- Helping the engineering sub-team leads make money moves.
