Applications close for this position on March 16th.

The Queen's Vertical Farming Team, founded in 2019, is Canada's first undergraduate engineering team of its kind. Recognizing this rapidly emerging industry, QVFT is designing and building a functional, software-automated aeroponic vertical farm on Queen's University campus. The majority of existing research in this field is conducted privately and is thus inaccessible to the public. Through its open-source approach, QVFT aims to democratize vertical farming knowledge and research.

Some responsibilities of the role of director are as follows:

  • Organization of team projects
  • Management of team funding
  • Liaison between faculty advisor, team members, sub-teams, and potential sponsors
  • Overseeing all team activities.

Interviews for this position will take place during the week of March 23 - 30.
