Upper Year FREC Committee is open to students in 2nd year and above. There are 4 Upper FC positions which include; 2 Logistic Coordinators, Systems and Support and Pre-Week Coordinator. The roles are outlined below:

Pre-Week:
The Pre-Week coordinator is responsible for developing training for FRECs to prepare them for their roles as orientation leaders. The Pre-Week coordinator delivers some training sessions to FRECs and coaches other FC members to deliver others. Some training is outsourced, and the Pre-Week coordinator must work with both on and off-campus resources to bring in supplemental training. Additionally, the Pre-Week coordinator will plan social events for orientation leaders and write the Pre-Week Bible. Pre-Week should be someone who has strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Systems and Support:
Systems and Support has a variety of responsibilities throughout the school year, summer, and orientation week. A main part of the job is to be an extra support (work-wise and friend-wise) to FREC Committee and all of the FRECs. The position's portfolio focuses on accessibility throughout orientation week, as well as spearheading Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Indigenization (EDII) initiatives. As part of this portfolio, Systems and Support is in charge of organizing registration and bursaries. Overall, Systems and Support must be approachable and passionate about developing the supports available to FC and FREC's throughout the year and during frosh week.

Logistics Coordinators:
The logistics coordinators (LCs) aid the day coordinators in planning and organizing their events during the year, manage supply orders and equipment rentals, and work alongside day coordinators to run all events during the week. Logistics coordinators must be high-energy, yet very organized. LC's take on a large leadership role and must be effective in team management skills. Technical skills are an asset.

Upper Year FC members take on a leadership role within FREC committee, as such they must be strong and positive role models. Upper FC must be individuals who are extremely good communicators and are willing to go the extra mile for the committee. Of course, these individuals should also be very passionate about orientation week.
