Who are we?

Hi! We’re Qlean, a Queen’s design club focused on cleantech like renewable energy, carbon capture & utilization, energy storage, etc.

To effectively combat climate change, it will take a large-scale understanding of carbon removal and emission reduction technologies. That’s why our mission is to upskill students via experiential learning in clean tech sectors with experience you can’t get in a classroom.

We can encompass multiple sectors of climate tech with different nodes that host projects in industry (e.g CO2 to ethanol conversion under our Carbon Dioxide Solutions node).

Long term, our vision is to be a clean-tech design hub which focuses on building projects and educating students across multiple sectors within clean tech.

Read more about us and our goals in our memo here.

If you have any questions about the application and the process, we want to hear from you! Qlean is an organization focused on transparency, shoot us a note at rivelis.jacob @queensu.ca.

Who are we hiring?

We are hiring 3 executives to help manage the nodal projects this semester!

The executives act as discipline/sub-team leads for the projects and oversee a group of general members to accomplish their deliverables.

The Elec Exec oversees a team that works with both nodes to ensure feasible implementation of circuitry, coding, and sensor integration.
