Are you a third-year engineering student looking to take the lead on the 123rd Science Formal? As the Construction Chair, you'll play a key role in the design aspect of the year-end event that celebrates our graduating Engineers at Grant Hall.
As the Construction Chair, you'll oversee all aspects of the Science Formal related to the construction of the set and decorations. This position includes oversight of a committee of Construction Managers and Main Structure Designers. Communication with the Art Chair regarding designs, environmental sustainability and budgeting is important in this role. Additionally, you will be in charge of construction safety at the warehouse and consulting a professional engineer.
The rest of this Winter you'll help run this year's Sci Formal. After that, you will be planning for Sci Formal in March 2026.

- Construction-related experience is an asset

- Time management and organizational skills
This position is open to third-year engineering students not going on internship.
