The General Member is an integral part of the Engineering Society, contributing to various initiatives, events, and projects. This role focuses on collaborating with different teams, leaders, and members to foster a positive and engaging environment within the Society.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Planning and Execution: Play a key role in planning, organizing, and executing EngSoc-Equity events and activities. Assist in logistics, communication, and implementation to ensure successful events.
- Collaborate on Impactful Projects: Work alongside directors, committee leads, and fellow members on key projects that align with the EDII goals of the Engineering Society. Contribute ideas and support initiatives that make a positive impact on the community.
- Voice in Weekly Meetings: Participate in regular strategy meetings to provide input, discuss ongoing initiatives, and help shape future projects. Share your ideas and perspectives to enhance the society’s activities and priorities.
