The Engineering Society's Communications Team works to inform students about the activities of the society and its respective services, resources, events, clubs, design teams, and conferences. This is achieved through graphic design, social media, photography, and videography.

As a member of the Communications Videography Team, you will work alongside the Video Manager to help film and edit video content for the Engineering Society. Candidates should be passionate about Queen’s Engineering and enjoy creating content to share with students. Experience is not required!

The Video Team provides a creative opportunity to capture the many aspects of Queen’s Engineering. Some past projects the team has worked on include the Orientation Week Recap Video, the “EngSoc Asks Students” mini-mic series, and the Year-end Recap Video.

The main responsibilities of a Videography Team Member include:

  • Producing fun and interesting video footage for various events, projects, and promotions. 
  • Attending bi-weekly Videography Team meetings.
  • Supporting video requests.
  • Editing video footage using Adobe Premier Pro.

Additional Important Information

  • The work term for this position is as soon as hired to May 1st, 2025.
  • This position has an expected time commitment of 1-3 hours per week. Members will not be required to work on projects during exam periods and reading weeks.
