Robogals Queen’s is hiring!

Robogals is an organization dedicated to increasing female participation in engineering and technology-related studies. We seek to encourage young women to pursue higher education in these fields by running free, educational workshops for students in elementary schools and high schools.

The Robogals chapter at Queen’s University has been making a positive impact in the Kingston community since 2013. In the past three years, we have helped introduce over 500 young women to robotics and engineering.

We currently hiring for the positions of First Year Representative. Students from all faculties and of all genders are encouraged to apply! The main roles of the position are outlined below:

  • Share Robogals news with first year students in your faculty as well as promote Robogals on campus
  • Assist the Robogals executive members (marketing, sponsorship, outreach, training, and operations) with small tasks based on preference
  • Plan and run an entire workshop from start to finish, helping to develop your leadership and organization skills

The application deadline is September 26th @ 11:59. Interviews will take place between September 27th - 29th.
