Overview:
The Resource Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Equity Team by creating, promoting, and managing resources focused on the mental and physical well-being of students. The individual in this role will collaborate with mental health stewards and manage the team’s social media presence, ensuring that the student body is well-informed about available resources and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and Advertise Resources: Develop and disseminate resources that promote both mental and physical health for students. Ensure resources are accessible, relevant, and responsive to the needs of the student body.
- Liaison with Mental Health Stewards: Work closely with mental health stewards to align on best practices, share updates, and create coordinated approaches to student well-being.
- Manage Social Media for the Equity Team: Run and maintain the Equity Team's social media platforms, keeping students informed about resources, events, and important initiatives related to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills, particularly in creating engaging and accessible content.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with mental health professionals and stakeholders.
- Passionate about promoting student wellness and equity within the Engineering Society.
