The Equity Team Chair leads/oversees the Equity Team. Equity Team supports and organizes Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Indigeneity, Accessibility, and Sustainability (EDII-AS) related planning and initiatives within the Engineering Society. The Equity Team Chair will work closely with the Director of Social Issues to ensure the success of the team in its endeavors; Responsibilities include chairing weekly meetings, assisting in the delegation of tasks, assisting members of the equity team with their projects, and helping with idea generation on the team. Applicants should have strong logistical, time management, leadership, and organizational skills, and should be passionate about improving equity within the Engineering Society in all respects.
