The Queen's BioMechatronics Team (QBMeT) is a multidisciplinary team that designs and manufactures wearable bionic systems to improve the human body by analyzing and enhancing human motions. The prototypes are designed for use in nearly any industry or application including construction, medicine, and emergency services.

The Project Managers will be responsible for ensuring general members stay organized and are hitting required deadlines. This includes duties such as: hosting small project-based meetings, liaising with general members, reporting progress to Chief Technical Officers, and coordinating between projects to help ensure a cohesive final product.

The Power Systems Team within QBMeT focuses on the design, testing, and integration of electrical and energy systems that power the wearable bionic devices. Project Managers overseeing this team will ensure that prototypes are developed using precise electrical schematics and optimized power distribution methods, incorporating battery systems, energy harvesting techniques, and efficient circuitry for maximum performance. They will be responsible for coordinating the integration of power systems with other subsystems, troubleshooting electrical issues, and ensuring that all designs meet the necessary safety, efficiency, and ergonomic requirements. Additionally, they will work closely with the team to validate that the power systems align with the overall project goals and performance standards.

This position closes on September 21st, and interviews will be occurring from September 22nd to 27th. For any questions feel free to reach out to queensbmet @clubs.queensu.ca
