About the Engineering Society Software Developer Team Manager (ESSDev) position

Engineering Society’s Software Development Team (ESSDEV) is a team of students who get to create their own software project and see it through from ideation to deployment. Students will brainstorm their own ideas, and work throughout the semester to create them.

As manager of the Engineering Society’s Software Development Team, you’ll manage a team of students working on software projects all while developing your own software development skills and managerial skills.

Requirements

  • Strong time management skills
  • Good leadership qualities

Responsibilities

  • Leading a team of passionate engineering students under the supervision of Director of IT
  • Create sub-teams based on member interest and project categories
  • Engage and motivate team members
