Are you a third-year engineering student looking to take the lead on the 122nd Science Formal? As the Convener, you'll play a key role in shaping the year-end event that celebrates our graduating Engineers at Grant Hall.
You'll oversee the Sci Formal Committee (approximately 25 people), and be the liaison between the Engineering Society, the Faculty and the students. Your job will be to plan and execute the event by transforming Grant Hall for the event (just look up "Science Formal Queen's" for some examples!).
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating weekly meetings with your chairs and reporting progress to the Engineering Society President
- Manage security and health & safety aspects by liaising with the Dean of Engineering & Applied Science, Queen's Campus Security, Queen's StuCons, First Aid, and Environmental Health and Safety.
- Oversight of the Art, Logistics, Construction, Finance and Communications Chairs, as well as their managers.

Note that this position is open to third-year engineering students only.
